A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract assignment in an urban healthcare setting located in Jamaica, NY. This day-shift role involves performing nuclear medicine imaging with precision and patient care expertise. Candidates should hold current BLS certification, possess either ARRT(N) or NMTCB credentials, and have an active New York state license.
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Certification through ARRT(N) or NMTCB
- Licensed to practice Nuclear Medicine Technology in New York State
- Experience with nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Strong patient communication and time management skills
Responsibilities / Duties
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging studies in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure safety and compliance with radiation protection standards
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Schedule / Hours
- Five 8-hour day shifts per week
